Day 1: Phuentsholing to Thimphu

After entering Phuentsholing and processing permits, you will drive to the town through spectacular mountain views. On the way, you can visit Karbandi Monastery and Crocodile Park.

From there, you can drive to the peaceful country of Thimphu. You can rest for the day in the hotel.

Day 2: Thimphu Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, you can complete your Punakha permit from Dochula and drive for local sightseeing in Thimphu. The tour includes National Library, Handicrafts Emporium, Buddha Point, Memorial Chorten, Motithang Takin Preserve, etc.

In the evening you are free to explore the city of Thimphu and have some delicious food.

Day 3: Thimphu to Punakha Via Dochula

 

After early morning breakfast, you can drive to Dochula Pass from Thimphu. The 108 Chortens will give you a mesmerizing view. Later you can drive to Punakha to visit Punakha Dzong.

After returning to the hotel, you can enjoy your evening in the city with your family.

Day 4: Punakha to Paro

After breakfast, you can drive to Paro from Punakha en route Simtokha Dzong. In the afternoon you can visit Ta Dzong and return to your hotel.

In the evening you can visit some restaurant for some finger-licking dishes or drink coffee at Champaca Cafe.

Day 5: Explore Paro

After breakfast, you can drive for local sightseeing in Paro. The places you can visit are Rinpung Dzong, Chele La Pass and the famous Tigers Nest Monastery.
