1. Paro Taktsang:

2. Punakha Dzong:

3. Kurjey Lhakhang Monastery:

 The Kurjey Lhakhang Monastery in Bumthang, one of the most revered and sacred monasteries of Bhutan is named after the body print that Guru Rimpoche left on the rock during his meditation. It is also believed that a large tree behind one of the temple buildings is a terma (walking stick)of the Guru. Major attractions: Impressive architecture of the monasteries and temples, and the rock bearing body imprint of Guru Rimpoche. Location: Bumthang Valley, Bhutan.

4. Jambay Lhakhang Monastery:

 Situated on the borderland of Tibet, Jambhay Lhakhang Monastery is an ancient pilgrimage site built by Songstan Gampo- the mighty Tibetan King. This sacred site has been able to arrest the attention of large tourists to its grand festivals of mid-night sacred naked dances. Major attractions: Wall paintings, murals, and sacred festivals. 5. Fort Lhuntse:

 Dwelling in the eastern province of Bhutan, Fort Lhuentse was erected in the year 1654. 6. Tamshing Lhakhang Monastery:

Tamshing Lhakhang Monastery The Tamshing Lhakhang, one of the most significant Nyingmapa temples in Bhutan is well-known for preserving the teachings of Pema Linga. Local communities pay a daily visit to this spiritual pilgrimage site to offer prayers. At present, the monastery supports the body of 95 monks. Major attractions: Mask dances during the Tshechu festivals. Location: Bumthang district, Bhutan.

7. Buddha Dordenma:

 The gigantic bronze statue of Shakyamuni glided in gold is the world`s largest statue which sits on a spur overlooking the southern approach of Thimphu. It houses over one hundred thousand smaller Buddha statues, each of which, look like the Buddha Dordema itself. Major attractions: Buddha statues, valley views. Location: Thimphu, Bhutan.
